Bio
Aisha Fairclough is a freelance television producer with more than 10 years of industry experience as a producer in factual/ lifestyle and reality programming. She has worked for numerous independent production companies where she developed, researched and has been a producer on a wide range of unscripted programs for networks including Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) Canada, Slice, HGTV, Showtime, Global TV, Food Network Canada,TVO and CBC. Aisha currently sits on the board of Inside Out LGBTQ+ Film Festival and is Strategic Planning Committee Chair. She also sits on the advisory council for the Ryerson University School of Fashion and is plus fashion stylist. Her blog Fat in the City has been featured in the Toronto Star, Metro, Etalk, Refinery 29, Huffington Post, CTV News and Essence Magazine she was also the lead stylist on the primetime series Sex with Sunny Megatron that aired on Showtime. In 2019 she was on the cover of Chatelaine Magazine’s June/July 2019 Issue celebrating her body-positivity. Aisha is also the co-founder of Body Confidence Canada (BCC) . She is currently a featured artist in Buddies in Bad times Queer Pride Analogue Project celebrating Pride in Place.
