Bio

Brian D. Verhoog is an award-nominated Designer born in Cape Town, South Africa.

Brian immigrated to Canada with his parents and younger brother.

After high school in Toronto, he attended the Ontario College of Art and Design University.

Brian brings a background in Commercial Design, Fine Arts and Set Design

which aids in creating environments for films, television series & commercials.

Collaborating with Directors, DOP’s, Writers and Producers, Brian then helps to develop

the project’s unique visual style from concept through to the final execution.

Brian’s design work was essential to the visual style of numerous film and

television series projects that have become successful in a both North American

and International markets, series such as Soul Food, Black Hole High NBC,

The Latest Buzz for Family Channel, My Babysitters a Vampire for Disney Channel,

Teletoon and Pure Pwnage for Showtime. Along with television series work,

Brian has also Designed features and MOW for television.

Brian recently worked on the upcoming Hulu/Corus new series “The Hardy Boys”, Netflix’s Titans, Good Witch Halloween Special,

Starz American Gods and two Anne of Green Gables MOW for PBS and YTV.
