Bio

Hello,
My name is Camellia Koo and I am a Production/Set designer-1st Assistant Art Director and Costume Designer.

Pre-Covid, I was in the middle of starting to make tracks to transition into the film/tv industry.

I am currently a full member of the DGC as an Assistant Art Director and also an IATSE 873 costume permittee and member of CAFTCAD.

I have 20 years professional experience as a Costume Designer and Production Designer (sets & props) for theatre, dance and opera across Canada and the US. I am looking to gain experience in the film/tv/commercials/shorts industry. I do not currently have any on set film or tv experience, but I am looking to learn and gain experience in the industry while also being able to best use and contribute my range of skills, wealth of experience, passion and rigour to your production.

Intro

I am a costume designer and set/production designer of Chinese descent (born in Canada).

I am always interested in meeting other BIPOC artists, creators and collaborators of all mediums and genres.
