Bio
Christopher is a Latinx news, documentary and set photographer who splits his time between his two homes in Toronto, Canada and Lima, Peru. A photojournalist by trade, Christopher counts the Canadian Press, Globe and Mail, Maclean’s, Narwhal and the Walrus as his clients. His news and portrait work has been published in the New York Times, New Yorker, Associated Press and others. While He loves shooting news, he equally loves shooting on film sets and has brought his etiquette, tact and professionalism to over 20 film sets.
Christopher is a mentor with Room Up Front, a mentorship for BIPOC photojournalists.
Christopher believes that our past experiences contribute to how we frame the stories we tell, and that the future will have a richer narrative landscape when our all voices have space to be heard.
