Bio

Jennifer Liao is currently in post-production on the feature thriller GRANDMA DEAREST, starring Wendie Malick and Amanda Righetti. She made her feature directorial debut with the supernatural dark comedy END OF DAYS, INC., supported by Telefilm Canada, and wrote and directed multiple episodes of the OMNI TV crime drama BLOOD AND WATER, nominated for Best Drama Series at the 2019 Canadian Screen Awards. Her short films as a director, writer, and/or producer have screened at festivals worldwide, and have been broadcast on CBC, Bravo!, and Air Canada. Jennifer previously produced the feature film SEX AFTER KIDS, wrote for the social media storytelling project CRUSHING IT! A SOCIAL MEDIA LOVE STORY, and was a TIFF Writers’ Studio fellow in 2018/19.
