Bio
I am a second-generation Cuban American child of divorce. My grandparents (and their VCRs) led me here. I champion underrepresented outsiders.
I am a Sci-Fi, Fantasy, Action, Horror, Comedy, and everything-in-between nerd. I know genre and jokes.
My passion led me to AFI, UCLA, the National Hispanic Media Coalition TV Writers Program, the Imagine Impact Community, the Nicholl finals three times, top 5 percent on the Black List site, and 3rd place in the Writers Guild Initiative Fellowship. I know story.
I was a Script Analyst for Team Downey and Marvel, I developed an action/thriller with Benderspink, and I co-wrote a comedy pilot that was considered for development by Comedy Central. I know the collaborative process.
I was a Writers’ PA for Disney, and I was a Writers’ Assistant for NBCUniversal. I know the room.
I saw the “You’re killin’ me, Smalls” kid from “The Sandlot” at a Subway once. Nobody believes me.
