Malachi Ellis is a talented and multidisciplinary content creator. He is a recent graduate of both Ryerson University’s Media Production Program and OYA Media Group’s Black Youth! Pathway 2 Industry Program.

Malachi has experience both professionally volunteering as a Production Assistant on several Canadian Film Centre shoots, as well as personal projects, such as The Hero’s Artist, a superhero thesis film for which he wrote, produced and directed. Malachi currently works as a Producers’ Assistant at OYA Media Group.

As a gay black cis-gendered man, Malachi seeks to produce fictional content that inspires others and pushes for the representation of marginalized individuals.
