Bio

Although I have loved writing and creating stories my whole life, I started taking it seriously after I wrote an directed a one-act play back in high school back in 2002 titled “Killer” which was a comedy. After that, I enrolled at Vancouver Island University from 2004-2007 taking creative writing courses before finally enrolling and graduating from the Writing for Film and Television program at Vancouver Film School in 2010. Will there I wrote a short film that was produced through the school titled “Stuck,” also a comedy. Since then I have been developing a comedy screenplay titled “Ref You Suck,” and recently wrote, directed and produced a two-minute short for the Vancouver Horror Show’s Jump Scare Film Competition which will be live streamed on June 25th, 2020.

I have also taken both Script Supervisor weekend workshops (Introduction and Advanced) at InFocus Film School back in 2019 and have since then worked on three short films as a script supervisor: “Songbird” which was directed by Heather Hawthorne-Doyle, “The Procedure” which was directed by Shannon Rayne (winner of the Mitribe Short Film Fund), and “The Tailor” which was directed by Nathalie Therriault.

Intro

I am a writer and aspiring director who is hoping to produce some of her own projects in the future and wants to find good people to collaborate with. I also am open to finding directors and producers for some of my writing as well. My favorite genres to write in are comedy and horror.
