NEHA TANEJA is a global fashion and costume designer and a stylist. Having studied fashion and creative arts at the University of the Arts London – London College of Fashion and Central St. Martins College of Art and Design, St Stephen’s College and City University, London are the other academic institutes she has attended.
To her fashion is all about inner experiences. In her words: “My fashion is an extension of me, who I am, what I think and what I see. To me it is cathartic. An art form with unconventional medium and strokes. I especially enjoy fashion that knows no boundaries, where shapes, construction and mood is played with; where every facet of styling is a story in itself.” Salvador Dali, Frieda Kahlo, Cristobal Balenciaga and Maison Martin Margiela are a few who have a deep impact on her aesthetic sensibilities.
Getting recognition and appreciation for her work around the globe, she has been honored by Rankin as an achiever in her field of work and a talent to look for. With her work featured in On/Off fanzine for London Fashion Week and with the honor of being published in Hunger Magazine as a fashion talent, she has been an active part of the fashion and costume industry. Her design and styling works have been hugely appreciated and featured in the leading electronic and print media.
