Bio
Iranian-Canadian filmmaker, born and raised in Ontario, best known as a Telefilm Talent to Watch recipient for his feature film, “Tehranto” (currently in post-production). After having made numerous films during his studies at Sheridan College, Faran went on to work in Editorial on numerous Emmy Award winning TV shows, and write and direct the award winning short film “Blackpowder and Guilt”.
Intro
This year I’m looking to finish editing Tehranto and a couple more episodes of TV, before doing the festival circuit for my feature. Beyond that, Q4 2020 will hopefully see a more active transition from editing into directing as I pursue opportunities on my second feature, pitching a TV series, and pursuing work as a director in more Canadian film and TV.
