Bio

Krystal Dinsberg is a Black female comedy TV writer with a strong grasp of comedic timing, character development, and the ability to create authentic diverse ensembles. As a military daughter that rose through the ranks in corporate America, Krystal brings a healthy dose of stories from her unique travels and relationships. Her portfolio of lighthearted sitcoms feature diverse adult ensembles exploring identity, relationship dynamics, and societal expectations while using elements of humor in everyday situations. After several years as an HR consultant, she took a leap of faith and pursued her love of television comedy writing full time. In 2020 Krystal was selected to participate in the DAF Onion Workshop and is a 2022 WIF Writers’ Circle Mentee. Krystal’s credits include previous work in production and writers’ room support for NBC, Hallmark, Lionsgate TV, CBS, and as an Associate Producer for THE VOICE (Season 19 & 20). Currently she serves as a Writers’ Assistant for an unannounced Season 2 Amazon project. Krystal lives on the West Coast, is a high points earner at Starbucks, loves rescue dogs, listening to worship music, spending time with loved ones, and laughing until her face hurts.
